Above the glacial waters, a polar bear stalks. He paws a hole in the ice, searching the deep blue for his next meal. The sea ripples in the blowing wind, rough choppy. He stalks on, the cold never touching him beneath his heavy coat of fur.

This is the image that drove me when designing Arctic Waters. The deep blue and icy grey of the yarns, the ripples of the garter sections, choppy texture, and eyelet holes in the stripes. All of it coming together to form a luxurious little shawl to wrap yourself against the cold.
