Arcus top is worked bottom up with double thread on thick needles. The stitches on the back piece are bound off, before you finish the front piece. The front is cut at an even angle to one side of the neck and finished with a wide I-cord that is attached to the back. Arcus means ‘bow’ in Latin, and refers to the long strap that lies neatly across the back. Knit the top in one piece and you’re ready for warm summer days

Size guide:
Choose a size that is 5-10 cm slimmer (negative ease) than your bust measurement.

Needle sizes:
Circular needle 8 mm (60 or 80 cm) for body and front piece
Circular needle and dpns 6 mm (40 or 60 cm) for ribbing and I-cord straps.

The pictured top is worked in We Are Knitters The Cotton, Mauve.
