I live in a hilly part of Ireland with Sitka forestry that often sits in cloud or fog. Ard is the Irish word for high / on a height or a small hill so it made sense to me to combine these two words to describe that landscape.

Ardsitka is a top-down circular yoke sweater with fluffy stranded colourwork. Short rows are placed at the back so as not to interrupt the yoke pattern. It is designed to be worn with approximately 8-15cm / 3-6“ positive ease. The body and sleeve length are easily adjustable. The colourwork is charted only. Model wears size 2 with 8cm / 3” of positive ease.
