Arinn means fireplace in Icelandic, and whether you are hiking in a misty boreal forest, tobogganing down a snow-covered slope or spending a lazy Sunday at home, these socks will surely keep you warm. Knit in an aran weight wool yarn with some nylon added for durability, they will last you through many adventures and memorable moments.

You will need two skeins of Briggs & Little Tuffy,1 set DPNs size 5 mm (or needle size to obtain gauge), 1 set DPNs size 4 mm (or 1-2 sizes smaller than needles used to obtain gauge) and 1 tapestry needle.

The socks are worked from the cuff down.

As this is my first pattern that I share I would really appreciate to hear your thoughts!

Happy knitting!
