This hat is part of a set which features a pretty Fair Isle pattern.

Mary Henderson loves to design Fair Isle patterns. “The hat is roomy, so is ideal for those who like an easy fit,” says Mary.
For the hat, a pompom is optional - another decorative choice could be an unusual button.
Scheepjes Metropolis yarn has a soft handle, and works well for this relaxed design.”

Scheepjes Metropolis (4ply weight; 65% extrafine merino wool, 25% nylon; 200m/219yds per 50g ball).
1 x 50g ball of each shade: A) Santiago (053); B) Johannesburg (054); C) Tokyo (061); D) Warsaw (072).
Note: these yarn quantities are enough to make the larger size hat, wristwarmers and a pompom.

3mm (UK 11/US 2-3) circular needles, 40 cm long, or double-pointed needles (DPNs). Stitch markers.
