Arkell Scarf
This gorgeous scarf pattern was designed by Rachel Atkinson for Loop London’s 10th anniversary book ‘10’. It is available as a printed book through Loop, London (loopknitting.com) or your local LYS. In the States the book is distributed through Deep South Fibers, while stock lasts, after that and for the rest of the world, through Loop, London.
‘Loop’s 10’ has 12 patterns celebrating 10 fabulous years of Loop,London. All patterns are written and charted. Each printed book comes with a download code.
Note: ‘Cloud Cuckoo’ is a beautiful bespoke color for Loop,London. This scarf will look totally beautiful in many yarns - though Cloud Cuckoo, as well as, Oh Sweetie Pie are beauties and we are honoured that Jade Sapphire dyed these for us.
Taking her inspiration from artist Julie Arkell, Rachel has designed a scarf just as charming and unique as its namesake. Textured stitches, cables and Rachel’s much-loved bobbles create a trailing flower pattern while Jade Sapphire’s beautiful hand-dyed cashmere provides luscious softness. Arkell is constructed of two panels that are grafted together to ensure a balanced pattern, which can be accented by soft fringing to complete the scarf.
