Balayage undyed or handdyed is the main colour for the body of this elegant and simple sweater. This is an easy project suitable for beginners or as your first topdown sweater.

Arki sweater has minimal decorations, 5 welted stripes on sleeves. The fun of this project is to choose the colours of sleeve stripes to express your mood.

Arki is knitted top down in stockinette to hip length with a relaxed straight body and long snug sleeves. Collar is wide and has short rows to shape the back. Sleeves and hem are finished with a folded border which gives the sweater a finished look.

Yarn: Balayage by Pascuali Filati Naturali, 80% Baby alpaca, 20% Bio merino extrafine wool, (175m = 190yds = 50 g), 5(6, 7, 7, 8, 9, 10) balls in colourway 617, total of 940 (1100, 1230, 1350, 1520, 1710, 1920) yards / 860 (1000, 1120, 1230, 1390, 1560, 1750) m (MC).
1 ball each in colourways 611 (CC1), 606 (CC2), 609 (CC3), 603 (CC4), 608 (CC5). Total of 5 g of each colourway except 10 g of CC4.

You can use any yarn, but this will affect the size of the sweater, your gauge and the amount of yarn needed.

Needles: US #2,53,0 circulars of 40 and 80 cm and dpns of the same size.

Notions: Tapestry needle, stitch markers of which one different, stitch holders or waste yarn.

Gauge for stockinette in the round: 23 sts ja 32 rows = 4 inches / 10 cm with #2,53,0 needles, wet blocked.
