1 skein Apple Tree Knits Luxe Fingering in Blues Traveller; 51% mulberry silk/ 49% merino, 500 yds (457 m)/ 4 oz (113 g)
OR 1 skein Apple Tree Knits Plush Fingering in Muddy Waters; 100% superwash merino wool, 560 yds (512 m)/4 oz (113 g)

Size US #0 (2.0 mm) and size US #1 (2.25 mm) DPN’s (or long circulars, if using the Magic Loop method), or size needed to obtain gauge

Stitch marker, tapestry needle (for weaving in ends)

Gauge
38 sts and 53 rounds = 4 inches in lace pattern with larger needles, blocked

Finished Size
Baby (toddler, child, adult small, adult medium, adult large)
To fit head circumference of: 14” (16”, 18”, 20”, 22.5”, 24”)
Hat depth to decreases: 5.25”, (5.25”, 6.75”, 7.25”, 7.25”, 7.25”)

The hat is fitted in the ribbing and then has 1-2” of positive ease around the body of the hat to create slouch.
