Armenius, aka Herman the German, beat the Romans on a battleground in the very village that we live in. So my inspiration for this jumper was a mix of this region’s Celtic heritage and the Germanic knot-work that we know about and has been published in many books.
I’ve used the Happiness Knot for the front of this jumper and I decided that the two sleeves should have the Bjaars Hitches patterns that mirror each other.
