This design is the first one from the La Roux series. La Roux is an electro-pop duet from England. The song Armour Love talks about a girl who is slowly loosing her boyfriend for another girl. When I listen to this song, I picture myself walking, alone in the street, wandering around. It’s chilly, but I have my tam on my head…

This is why I decided to design this tam. The knit-purl pattern makes me think about trees, and the seed stitch borders add dimension and texture. The crown is shaped within the pattern, so you will only have to follow the chart.
