Arrina
This pattern is part of To the Shore - a collection of 5 patterns – 1 garments, 4 accessories – inspired by my love of the coast of Britain, celebrating some of my favourite british yarns. The patterns are being released over the first two weeks in March.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
The rich azure of the ocean, the white of the sea foam and glowing gold of lichen on black rocks are combined in this cropped boxy Fair Isle sweater – a traditional fabric with modern style. Alternating bright bands with darker, energetic patterning hint at the rhythmic beating of the waves against cliffs.
Arrina is knit in the round with steeked armholes and features a garter rib yoke and split hem.
Now available in 5 colour ways using either North Coast 4 ply from The Border Mill or Spindrift from Jamiesons of Shetland.
