Arrow of Artemis Shawlette

Artemis is the Greek goddess of the hunt, wild animals, the forest, and the moon. She is most often depicted as a huntress with a bow and arrow. Although well known for her hunting skills, she is also known for her protection of young animals and the wilderness. As the spring season begins, I am reminded of the annual rebirth of wildlife: baby bunnies emerging from their nests and the sprouting of new green buds. Artemis is a symbol of the preciousness of this new growth. The Arrow of Artemis Shawlette is a simple yet beautiful accessory to point the way toward spring and new life. Made with a single skein, this bottom-up triangular shawlette has a simple lace motif that climbs up the center for fun and carefree knitting.
This pattern is written as a one skein project, but can easily be adapted to create a full size shawl with additional skeins! Calculations are included to ensure enough yarn is left for bind off based on the size you create.
