Gauge: 28 sts & 38 rows = 10 cm / 4” over Stocking stitch on 3.5 mm needles, with 1 strand each of yarns A and B held together after blocking
Needles: 3.5 mm / US 4 circular needle, 80cm / 32” length 2.75 mm / US 2 circular needle, 80cm / 32” length AND needles suitable for working small circumferences in the round.
Always use a needle size that will result in the correct gauge after blocking.
Notions: 4 locking stitch markers, stitch holders or scrap yarn, tapestry needle.
Notes: Artemis is knitted from the top down with yarns A and B held together. First the shoulders are knitted separately to create the shape of the front neck, and then the back is worked before joining the body in one piece. The sleeves are knitted in the round from the armholes down. The neck is shaped with short rows to create the special crescent effect.
