Arthouse Beanie is an adventurous advanced beginner level 70’s inspired beanie that can be made as a snug skull-cap, or roomy or slouchy beanie.
Made from basic stitches using Worsted weight yarn, it works up very quickly.
The design is yarn-sparing and a great way to stash bust.
Warm but breathable in wool or acrylic for winter, this makes a great hiking beanie. Cute in cotton as a fitted skull-cap for Spring. Perfect for those cooler Autumn days also, especially when made up in rich Autumn colour(s).
Use one colour, multiple colours (including ombre) for different effects.
The Ravelry pattern pdf includes flower motif instructions and instructions for multiple brim options from beginner to intermediate.
The basic beanie instructions and simple brim are available for free on my blog.
