As Light as a Feather
As light as a feather - Soft Wool for Early Spring
An unusual combination of colours maroon, cream and orange is responsible for the smartness of this light-weight jumper. There is a distinctive finish to the neckline, and a belt of maroon suede is the only additional ornament.
Materials: 7 oz. 3-ply wool, maroon, 1 oz. each of cream and orange wool; No. 9 needles, press-studs; suede belt.
Measurements: bust 34 inches; length to underarm seam, 15 inches, sleeve along seam, 6 inches.
No tension is stated but can be knit using a common tension of 3-ply wool of the era: 6,5 sts and 7,5 rows per inch.
