Asanoha
Asanoha is a unisex sock pattern featuring stranded colourwork. It is knit cuff down with a heel flap and rounder heel. The gusset decreases are positioned at the bottom of the foot. This sock was inspired by a traditional Japanese design called Asanoha or hemp leaves which I found on one of my favourite washi tapes. The pattern is believed to bestow health and long life.
This pattern was a bonus pattern for Sock Madness 16.
There are 3 sizes available: Small (60 stitches), Medium (70 stitches) and Large (80 stitches).
Fingering weight sock yarn in 2 contrasting colours: about 60-75 grams for main colour and 30-40 grams for contrast colour.
