Aslant Shawl
The Aslant Shawl is a classic asymmetrical triangle shaped wrap. It’s a simple stitch repeat that is perfect for both beginner and advanced crocheters. The stitches used create a very visually appealing texture. This shawl is light yet warm, perfect for transitioning from summer to autumn. Wear it with the point in front as a triangle scarf, or draped over your shoulders as a wrap to ward off the chill of a summers eve. The scarf was designed to be a wardrobe staple and with its easy to wear, classic design it will be!
Finished Size: Approximately 32” Wide (Measured at the widest part) by 65.5” long. (Before Blocking)
Gauge: approx. 11 stitches/19 rows = 4” x 4” square in Mesh Stitch
Materials:
-F- 3.75mm Hook
-Stitch Marker
-Scissors
-Tapestry Needle
-2 Skeins Fingering weight yarn ( 400 yards each) in contrasting colors.
I used Elfin Glen (Speckled) & Garganay (Solid) by Rhichard Devrieze, on his Thede Base, a 80% super wash merino 20% Nylon sock yarn. Each skein had 400 yards. I used all of the Elfin Glen (Color 2) and had only a few yards of Color A left.
