Pattern Description: This intricate lace doily is knit circularly in 98 rounds. Crossed sts, twisted sts, and butterfly drop sts are used to create detail and dimension. Crocheted chain loops are used to bind off the doily.The pattern is in written form only, no charts. No gauge information is given.
Materials: Pattern calls for
- Three 220 yd balls of No. 30 crochet cotton
- US 1/English size 12 needles: 5 dpns; 11”, 16” and 24” circulars
- Steel crochet hook size 13
Alternatives: This doily may be knit with larger/smaller crochet thread -- adjust needle sizes accordingly; Lace or fingering weight yarn knit on larger needles would make for a lovely round shawl.
