Asteri Scarf
“Asteri” is a scarf designed for flexible wearing options. Wear it like a regular scarf ~ or use the button sets to turn Asteri into a cowl, a tie, to simply keep the edges together ~ or whatever you desire. The unique stitch pattern makes “Asteri” suitable for men and women, while looking great in hand painted, variegated, semi-solid or solid colorways.
Knit from one short edge to the other, then edged with I-cord that incorporates button holes strategically placed on all the edges, the pattern is both written and charted. Skills used are twisted decrease of multiple sts, yarn over, slip st, I-cord.
Approximately 250 yds of worsted weight yarn are required for the scarf, with 36-40 yds required for the I-cord trim.
Sample shown in Mountain Colors 4/8′s Wool ~ Sagebrush
