I set out to knit a simple ribbed hat with a few cable twists, intended as a gift for the sartorially
unadventurous. But I got bored, and my cables started wandering.
The constantly moving cables require the beginning of a pattern repeat to travel a bit as well, but it’s not
nearly as tricky as it might seem on paper, promise!
Astoria Boulevard is named after the subway station in Queens, on the N and W.
