Astoria market bag
My aim was to create a somewhat chic and stylish market bag. Slouchy doesn’t necessarily have to mean sleazy, if you know what I mean. Anyway, I think I did a pretty good job.
The bag has a solid bottom, which I love, because it keeps things from falling through and this way it does not need a lining.
After the bottom you’ll start making the mesh which comes with an extra round of single crochets and chains to give it a more sophisticated look. So simple, but so elegant!
