Astra Cowl and Headband
The Astra Cowl and Headband are part of the beautiful Astra-series, which includes a cowl, mittens, and a headband. The series is inspired by traditional Fair Isle and Norwegian knitting patterns but interpreted with a modern touch, making the design both timeless and elegant.

Procedure
Astra Cowl
The cowl is worked in the round on circular needles. It is worked using the magic loop method, but can of course also be worked on a shorter circular needle or with double-pointed needles if preferred. Begin with a rib edge in the main color, continue following the chart, and finish with a rib edge.
Astra Headband
The headband is worked in the round on a circular needle. Cast on using a provisional cast-on and work in the round using the magic loop method. You can, of course, use a shorter circular needle or double-pointed needles if you prefer. Begin on the inside of the headband with stockinette stitch, then continue on the right side with the colorwork pattern following the chart. Finally, work another section in stockinette stitch for the inside of the headband before grafting the stitches together using Kitchener stitch.
