Astrid
Astrid is a very romantic scarf. Worked in two coordinating colors, I wanted it to resemble the look of vintage lace edgings. With an irregular shape, Astrid is something frilly and fun to wear with your dull winter coats.
Finished Measurements:
54” (134 cm) long
Materials:
Yarn:
You can use any worsted yarn that knits up to gauge. For my sample I used:
Fringe: Malabrigo Yarn Merino Worsted (100g /200y) - 1 skein in natural – Yarn color A
Body of the scarf: Abuelita Yarns Merino Worsted (100g/200y) - 1 skein in heathered gray – Yarn color B
Needles:
US9 (5.5mm) knitting needles
Gauge: 14 stitches to 4 inches (10 cm) in stockinette stitch, after blocking
