Larissa in in the process of creating an art project of cotton dish cloths, and for my first entry in the project I decided to make up a simple pattern based on the star stitch.

Take a simple-but-elegant stitch pattern, add a sweet little cable and a purled border, and you have a washcloth that makes a lowly yarn (and purpose) seem positively aristocratic.
