A long jacket in dropped stitches was my starting point. I found a beautiful berry color called ‘Berry Pie Mix’ in Ultra Alpaca Fine by Berroco, which has a great stitch definition. A long collar gives the fronts an asymmetrical expression.

Hem and tucks are made by casting on and knitting with 2 circular needles to avoid picking up the same sts later. On the foll row slide all sts on second needle onto cord and work for a number of rows. Then on folding line work p2tog by p 1 st from each needle.
