To achieve the beautiful heathered texture, the cardigan is crocheted with two strands of yarn of each color held together:
Rnd 1: Ramble Boysenberry (130) + Woodland Spiced Plum (423)
Rnd 2: Ramble Straw (114) + Woodland Honeycomb (411)
Rnd 3: Ramble Stained Glass Blue (123) + Woodland Blue Bell (418)

The cardigan body’s shape is a rectangle composed of square motifs joined together as you work their last round. In each motif, each round is worked in a different color. After each round is finished, cut the yarns and weave in the ends. Then attach yarns of next color in the specified point and work the next round, etc.

Working the corner squares of the rectangle, fold the whole piece lengthwise and join the pairs of squares together leaving spaces for armholes. Then work several rounds around the main opening circumference and around the armholes to straighten out the edges. All edgings are worked with right side facing.

Gauge: One square motif: 4” x 4”/10cm x 10cm
