As I’m very much into fingerless mitts currently (maybe you’ve already noticed…) here’s another pair - eye-catching and just a little bit romantic.

Au Contraire mitts are knitted in rounds and have a flower motif on the back which is applied using duplicate stitch. However, if you prefer you can decide to work the motif while knitting, too. Color charts are included in the pattern.

Au Contraire mitts are worked bottom-up in the round and are an easy to work and quick, little project, well suited for advanced beginners.

Techniques used are knit, purl, k2tog, ssk, M1L and M1R.

Yardage requirements are about 130m in each of the two colors.
