AUGUSTUS SOCKS

This pattern I created when my 3rd grandchild Augustus was born. It is about the last months of the summer, waiting for the reliefing, warm summer rains.

The socks are knitted with fingering yarn, but the pattern is pretty easy repeating mostly the same rain drops motif. The heel is knitted as an hour-glass and the toe is formed to an umbrella shape.
