Create a beautifully fitted statement dress with the Aurelia Sequin Crochet Dress Pattern. Designed with a flattering V neckline, gentle waist shaping and an elegant top down construction, this dress combines simple crochet stitches with a shimmering sequin yarn for a polished finish.

The dress is worked using one strand of DK weight yarn and one strand of sequin yarn held together throughout. The sequins add a soft sparkle while the DK yarn provides structure, comfort and stitch definition.

Construction begins at the shoulder straps. The front and back upper sections are made separately and joined before the body is continued in rounds. This means there are no long side seams to sew. A smaller crochet hook is used around the waist to create subtle shaping before returning to the larger hook for the hip and lower section.
