A collaboration between Elizabeth Lovick and Catriona Gunn Catdownunder
Kangaroos, Koalas and Kookaburras symbolise Australia. All have suffered greatly in the recent fires. Show your support for the rescue efforts by making a beanie for yourself or your friends.

Light fingering yarn in two colours as shown in table.
2 and 2.5 mm (US 0 and 1) or 2.5 and 3 mm (US1 and 2.5) circular needles as shown in the table.

needles: 2 and 2.5 mm (2.5 and 3 mm, 2 and 2.5 mm 2.5 and 3 mm
Background Colour: 20/95 (25/120, 30/140, 35/170) g/yds
Pattern Colour: 10/50 (15/70, 20/95, 25/120) g/yds
TENSION
Sizes 1 and 3: 36 sts and 38 rounds to 4” over pattern on larger needles
Sizes 2 and 4: 32 sts and 34 rounds to 4” over pattern on larger needles
Both measured after washing and blocking. Adjust your needle size to get the correct tension.
