About Autotelic
Autotelic is worked from the cuff down. After a ribbed cuff, the stitch pattern on the front of the leg features a predictably repetitive pattern of knits and purls with a cable thrown in every tenth round to keep it interesting. This sock features heel construction that doesn’t require any stitches to be picked up, yet provides the stability and support of a traditional heel flap and gussets. The stitch pattern continues on the top of the foot, and the sock finishes with a rounded toe that is grafted closed. The stitch pattern is both written and charted and the instructions are needle-neutral to accommodate your preferred method of working in the round.
