Autumn Glory
I’ve always had an appreciation for hand-made quilts, but don’t have the patience to actually sew them. I would much rather knit one instead. It is surprisingly easy to do. Blocks are knit with two colors in garter stitch using simple increases and decreases, then sewn together to form the “quilt”. Then a garter stitch border finishes off the edges. The knitter can make this afghan larger or smaller by changing the size of the blocks. This pattern is part of a larger collection that turns traditional sewn quilts into knitted blankets.
