Autumn Pond Shawl

My inspiration for this shawl came from a vision of autumn leaves overlapping over pond water. This asymmetric triangular shawl starts with a single leaf and increases into a body of lace in shape of overlapping leaves. At about a third of the body of the shawl another color is introduced in garter stitch representing water of the pond. The drapey nature of a shawl seems perfect to convey fluidity of pond water carrying fallen leaves and also of seasonality of beautiful nature to enjoy. Made in DK weight yarn the shawl is both lightweight and substantially warm for cooler fall weather.
Pattern has been tested and includes both full size charts and sword by word instructions.
