There is nothing more fun and yet relaxing than working on projects that have an easy to follow, familiar pattern to crochet. This booklet is full of patterns that have nothing complicated just double crochet and color play (description from the Red Heart website).

This pattern takes one skein each of Red Heart Super Saver colors Pale Yellow, Cornmeal, and Gold; two skeins of Carrot, and three skeins of Fall.

It is a join-as-you-go granny square project.

The gauge is 7 inches for the first five rounds of the granny square, done with the smaller hook. The larger hook is for the edging which is done at the end.
