Avenir Cardigan
Avenir is a lacy, breezy cardigan falling a little longer than hip hip-length. It has an airy lace stitch and sleeve detail. The name comes from the town of Avenir, Alberta, where my mother grew up. Its name in English means ‘come up’, describing the friendliness of the people.
