Sweet and pretty socks inspired by blooming spring gardens, Avivah features climbing eyelet rosettes framed within a twisted-stitch trellis pattern along the front of the foot and leg. The trellis tidily closes at it flows into deep ribbing at the top. Delicate rosettes on the back burst forth from the contained garden trellis for a rambling-rose feel.

Construction and pattern notes: Avivah socks are worked from the toe up, with a short-row toe and gusset heel. Stitch patterns are both written and charted.

Finished measurements: foot circumference 7 1/2” (8 1/2”, 9 1/2”) or 19 (21.5, 24) cm. Shown in 7 1/2”.

Yarn: 1 skein Miss Babs Hand-dyed Yarns and Fibers Windsor (400 yds / 365 m per 4 oz / 113 g skein; 80% superwash merino, 20% nylon)
