The Crochet Textured Rectangle Granny Afghan is the sister to the square version, Textured Granny Baby Blanket. This project is a granny square-styled blanket that has smaller holes than your typical crochet granny project, with just a bit extra texture.

I used Red Heart® With Love™ as it was all I had on hand since my recent move. I am now living in Florida and had a bit of time on my hand while I waited out Hurricane Ian. I love how these colours came together. Of course, you can use any yarn, just match your hook and change colours as often as you like! I hope you enjoy this granny-style blanket as much as I do. I am sure I’ll be using this stitch in future projects.
