Stitch holder

Gauge 22 sts and 30 rows in stockinette st and leaf pattern on needle size 4 mm / US 6 = 10 x 10 cm / 4 x 4 inches

NOTE! It is important that the gauge is the same in both stockinette stitch and leaf pattern. Some knitters may need to go up or down 1-2 needle sizes when switching from stockinette stitch to leaf pattern in order to maintain the same gauge.

Procedure
The sweater is worked in the round from the top down. German Short Rows are worked across the shoulders and back neck at the beginning to create a higher neckline. The yoke is shaped by increasing within the eyelet pattern. The work is then divided, and the body and sleeves are completed separately. The eyelet pattern is worked throughout the sweater.
