When your Spring frock leaves you a little chilly, this delicate shrug provides a perfect finishing touch for just a touch of warmth. The overall lace pattern creates a graceful motif reminiscent of early blooming snowdrop flowers, a welcome sign of warming days ahead.

This little cardigan is worked flat from the bottom up. Stitches are held so that the back and each front can be worked separately up to the shoulder. The shoulder is finished with a three needle bind-off and stitches are picked up along the armhole for a top down sleeve that is worked in the round. Short rows are worked at the shoulder and on the sleeves for shaping. The garment is finished with an I-cord edge that will include a button hole to close at the bottom of a deep v-neck.
