Do you love the look of Portuguese painted tin-glazed ceramic tiles … azulejos? Now you can incorporate them into your own interlocking filet crochet project.

This tile is one of twenty-four total tiles included in the Azulejos Tiles pattern set. While the Azulejos Tiles can be assembled in many ways to make your own project, the Azulejos Throw, using two of each tile, is provided as an example to learn how to join the tiles as well as add the lacy border.

This pattern provides both row-by-row written instructions as well as design charts for reference. Since this interlocking filet crochet project contains many diagonals to create the design, it is recommended for someone who is comfortable with the interlocking filet mesh technique. If you haven’t tried diagonals on an interlocking filet mesh project yet, you can learn how on my YouTube Channel! You can also read about it on my blog: Interlocking Filet Mesh with Diagonals!
