These mittens will keep your hands warm and toasty all winter long. Blacker Yarns Gotland DK has a beautiful halo after blocking which traps warm air to make the mittens extra snug.

The horizontal ribbed cuff for Azurite is worked flat from a provisional cast on. Ends are joined with a 3 needle bind off. Stitches are picked up along one edge of the cuff and the rest of the mitten is worked in the round with a gusset for the thumb. The stranded colourwork section is charted, but may simply be omitted if a simpler mitten is preferred.
