It also has a very fun and unique construction that is rather addictive.

You can use any amount of yarn and any weight of yarn. Instructions are given in such a way that that you can complete this and make a rather long shawl or a short neckwarmer.

Gauge isn’t important. Again we just want to use up that stash.

It can be done in one color or do the border mesh in some lovely contrasting color. The border can be worked very wide or very slim. Looks great either way.
and the all garter stitch makes it a quick and easy knit piece.

it also has a unique construction. you need to make sure that you have a pair of really long circular needles. especially if you are using more yarn. the border stitches are built up on the needles as you go. so when you finish the main body, all the stitches you need for the border are right there and ready to go.
