This cap combines two of my favorite textures: brioche and basketweave. I love the idea of knitting with two colors in two different textural techniques, and the finished product looks more complicated that it actually is. If you love two-color brioche in the round and want to try two-color cables, this cap is for you. You can top it off with a yarn pompom, or you can go glam and finish it with a fur pompom.

Gauge is important for this pattern, so make sure you work up a gauge swatch…especially in the cable pattern. The hat is designed to fit an average head (21”), so if you need to make it larger, adjust your needle sizes and increases accordingly.
