Baa Baa Baby Blankets
These adorable, fleecy crocheted blankets roll up to create the “Wee Baby Lamb Lovey” or the larger “Mommy Loves Ewe Baby Blanket”!
Stitches used include - ch, sl st, sc & a cast on half double treble stitch. Pattern includes photos and full-explanation of the special stitch, plus a link to a video showing the stitch being demonstrated.
Skill level: Intermediate
Pattern is written in standard American terms.
Materials: You may use yarn and hook of choice with this pattern. Sample blankets used a DK or light worsted weight yarn and crochet hook size I (5.5 mm). Sample yardage amounts used were approx. 1200 yards for the baby blanket and 350 yards for the lovey.
• Crochet hooks size F (3.75 mm) & I (5.5 mm)
• Button (approx. 20 mm or 13/16”)
• Needle & thread
• Yarn needle
• Ribbon
Finished Size: Sample baby blanket measured approx. 38” long x 30” wide & lovey measured approx. 20” long x 15” wide. (The lovey is approx. ¼ the size of the baby blanket.)
