This big light warm cowl can be worn over your shoulders and cover your neck or you put it over your head as well to cover it from the back like a hood. The draping reminds me all those Russian women covering their heads with shawls in winter – hence the name Babushka which is Russian for grandmother. The hat or cap is possible to wear with double brim to warm your forehead or – more stylish – as a beanie without doubling the brim. Our model wears the cowl in size medium with a circumference of about 100 cm and has a shoulder width about 46 cm. Please be aware that the knitted fabric does not have a stitch definition, so it is a must to use stitch markers and row counter to keep track of your done work.
