With silver bells and cockle shells, and pretty maids all in a row” Inspired by the famous nursery rhyme, “Baby Bells and Shells” is a simple, yet charming little sweater. The drop-stitch lace pattern that borders the bottom hem of the sweater is reminiscent of the cockle shells native to the shores of Scotland. Knit from the bottom up, this sweater makes for a simple and quick knit, ideal for gifts and last minute projects. Especially designed with little ones in mind, the key-hole back and the ¾ sleeves make it easy to put on and easy to wear. “Baby Bells and Shells” is certain to please even your most contrary of tykes.

US Size 8, 16” circular needle or one size larger than gauge needle

20 sts & 24 rows over 4” on smaller needle, after blocking
