Materials:

• Bootie size determines hook size: G/4mm, 4.5mm, H/5mm, I/5.5mm, or J/6mm
• Worsted weight yarn
• Tapestry needle

Gauge:
Gauge is important for this easy crochet baby booties for beginners pattern. To check your gauge, use the recommended hook size for the size bootie you want to make and crochet the sole of the bootie (rounds 1-4).

If your sole is smaller than mine, your tension is tighter. Try a larger size hook. If your sole is larger, your tension is looser than mine and you should try a smaller size hook.
