Baby Boy Moore Blanket
I am becoming an aunt for the first time, and this little blanket was designed for my nephew who is due to arrive at any moment. My sister wanted chevrons so I adapted my “Clupea” stitch pattern into an easy-to-remember and very versatile blanket pattern. Although the sample is a baby blanket, this pattern can easily be adjusted for any size blanket that you want. It can be made in a solid color or as many stripey colors as you’d like. My sister and her husband like blue so I used thick and thin stripes of navy, light blue and grey, but the whole time I was knitting it I thought it would be great fun in scrap yarns. :) This pattern includes written instructions for the design.
