This sweet and soft blanket oozes charm and comfort. It is knit using a combination of 4 different stitch patterns, arranged in a framed portrait style. It begins with a seed stitch border, then adds a slipped stitch inner border, then adds some calming stockinette stitches, and finishes with another slipped stitch center.

Neither of the slipped stitch designs have a name that I could find, just stitches that friends gave me. The outer one is a four stitch repeat that includes a leading yarn over, that is slipped on the knit side. The center slipped stitch is a 4 stitch plus1 repeat, that works the slipped stitch on the purl side.

The blanket is knit on size 8 needles, using Berroco Comfort yarn (worsted weight). Any worsted weight yarn could be substituted. The finished size is 30”x35”.
