Baby Chloroplasts
One of the wonders of the natural world, these little choloroplasts are busy turning sunlight and water into energy and oxygen. Rather handy as I quite like breathing!
They make super cute gifts for scientists, stiuents and teachers, or can be just cheerful reminders of our beautiful world.

This pattern only involves knitting flat and is suitable for a beginner knitter. You can also contact me at any point if you need technical advice or have any other queries.
What you will need:
2 knitting needles (US1/2.25mm or as per tension advice)
5g 4 ply green yarn, ideally variegated or multicolour (e.g. Bergere de France Reflet 35250 ‘Gingembre’)
2 black plastic toy safety eyes (6mm)
Polyfil toy stuffing
1 tapestry needle for finishing
Skills used: Casting on and off
Stitches used: Reverse stocking stitch
